Educational resources

ACN has compiled a range of resources to help your secondary or high school educate and engage pupils on the work of ACN

Learning about persecution and religious freedom issues is an important challenge for young Christians in the United Kingdom as they seek to grow in their own faith.

In many parts of the world it is becoming increasingly difficult for Christians to practise and live out their faith. Our teaching materials pose important and challenging questions for students about religious freedom, human rights, justice and their own beliefs.

You can download our new selection of teaching resources for Key Stage 3 and 4 for use in PSHE, General RE and appropriate sections of the school curriculum. Our materials are also suitable for homework and other projects – particularly RE, History and Geography.

ACN's newly-created multi-media resources will help your pupils to:

  • Become aware of Aid to the Church in Need and its mission to the Church
  • Understand that Christian persecution is one of the most serious human rights issues today
  • Reflect on what it means to be part of the Universal Catholic Church
  • Reflect on how we can change the world for the better by our own Christian witness

Go to Mass for Someone who cannot:

Around the world, Christians are under threat as never before. Discrimination, injustice, assault, kidnap, forced conversion, torture and death are realities for millions of Christians around the world now. Got to Mass for Someone who cannot is for individuals to go to an extra Mass to pray for someone who cannot due to persecution.
