Requiem for the Innocents

“The requiem is about the mourning of innocent life,” writes composer Joseph Estorninho of Requiem for the Innocents, which he wrote for the unborn dead.

“It is about resolution, it is about moving on. For those women who have suffered a miscarriage or who have undergone an abortion, the Requiem seeks to reconcile them with their loss.”

Challenging and thought-provoking, this deeply moving work, recorded at the Church of St Alban the Martyr, London and performed by the Voices of Little Venice and the St Cecilia Choir, celebrates life as truly sacred.
