Prayer and Faith

Prayer is the spiritual bond which unites us in faith, love and solidarity with persecuted and suffering Christians around the world.

Your prayers will comfort and sustain all those who suffer persecution, oppression or discrimination because they believe in Christ.

In this section you can find many ideas and resources to help you in your prayers – why not join in prayer with friends at your parish or school?

Your prayers for Pope Francis

Thank you for your prayers for the Holy Father and his papal ministry!

Father Werenfried's thought for the day

Father Werenfried van Straaten was the founder of Aid to the Church in Need. He was never afraid to speak out on matters of spirituality, charity, persecution and human suffering. We hope his words will inspire you in prayer and faith.

Praying the Rosary

Staff in our UK office gather regularly in our Lady Chapel to pray the Rosary together. We invite you to pray for persecuted and suffering Christians around the world – but of course you should not forget to pray for your own intentions, too.
