“Pray with unshakeable trust and with a heart that embraces both friend and foe in love. And the Lord will stoop down to us and his mercy will know no bounds.”
– Father Werenfried van Straaten, founder of Aid to the Church in Need
Your Prayers
Christian solidarity in prayer
One of the most important things you can do to help persecuted and suffering Christians around the world is to show your solidarity by praying for them.
But praying for benefactors and friends of Aid to the Church in Need is equally important to our work. Please be assured of the prayers of all the priests, Sisters and faithful whom you are helping in some 130 countries.
Each month, Mass is celebrated in our international headquarters in Germany for all our benefactors. Each day we pray the Angelus at 12 noon in our national offices. Aid to the Church in Need staff also regularly gather to pray the Rosary in the Chapel to Our Lady in the UK office.
We remember all our benefactors when we pray together, especially those who have asked us to remember their intentions or the anniversary of a departed loved one.
If you would like us to remember your intentions when we gather together to pray, please fill in the form below and we will add them to our prayer list. And don’t forget to join us in prayer through our prayer recordings on this website.

Please submit the names of anyone you would like us to pray for.
