“Our faithful may not know much more than the ‘Our Father’ but the last thing they are willing to do is to convert. The situation is becoming more difficult, but we are becoming stronger in our faith.”
– Archbishop Lawrence Saldanha of Lahore, Pakistan

Pray for Pakistan
Please pray for Christians who suffer persecution in Pakistan today
The solidarity of your prayer is a great comfort and encouragement to a faithful facing a worsening crisis of extremism, fear, violence and death.
In particular, please remember the eight victims of anti-Christian violence in Gojra in 2009, as their loved ones mark the first anniversary of their deaths.
In spite of the challenges that our brothers and sisters have to face in Pakistan, their courge and commitment to professing their faith is an inspiration and source of hope.
Their determination is helping the Church in Pakistan to grow against all odds. With your help, vocations are booming. Sisters are receiving formation, the faithful are coming forward to train as catechists and children are receiving Christian education.
