Lent

Lent is a solemn season of reflection, penance and fasting in preparation for Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday.

In particular during these weeks we are remembering Christians in Sudan, who have suffered years of persecution, displacement and civil war.

Please remember our suffering brothers and sisters in prayer throughout the solemn season of Lent.

We are privileged that these humbling examples of Witness to Christ not only inspire action but also help us to deepen our own faith through prayer in solidarity with them.
