Aid to the Church in Need will once again have a stall at the Towards Advent Festival. We will have a wide selection of our new Christmas cards, books, gifts and music available.
Why not come along and do some Christmas shopping, be inspired by your faith and meet other Catholics?
We will have advent calendars, Christmas cards, gifts for children, hand-made items from the Holy Land, and many more stocking fillers.
The event will take place on Saturday 19th November at Westminster Cathedral Hall starting at 10am and closing at 4pm. Refreshments will be served all day and there will be a play corner for children.
Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Westminster will officially open the event at 10.30am.
There will also be music from the Gallery Choir of Westminster Cathedral Choir School.
The event features the folowing:
1.30pm – Monsignor Keith Newton, Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham on 'Joy and Hope in the Church' An opportunity to learn, sing and be inspired!
3.00pm – A celebration of Blessed John Paul II in film, drama and music. This includes the documentary film "John Paul the Great" and contributions from the Oxford-based youth drama team who presented the play "The Quality of Mercy", featured on EWTN.
Talks cost £2.00.
